Matthew works on a variety of projects at GOA, from residential to institutional. A native of Pennsylvania, his interest in the latent potential of the post-industrial city stems from his time as an undergraduate in Pittsburgh. Matthew previously worked in international education in Europe and Asia, and received a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, Spain before attending Yale University for a Master in Architecture. Matthew is an avid drawer with a focus on hand-drawn aerial maps and in his free time he can be seen riding his bicycle around New Haven and beyond.
