Parker works closely with the firm principals to oversee and direct design within the office. He has served as a Project Manager and Project Architect for residential and institutional projects of varying scales and complexity within the firm, most notably the Shimogamo House in Kyoto, Japan which is currently under construction. He is present at all client and job site meetings and involved with all design decisions to ensure coordination of project goals with architectural production including consultant team management and the investigation and implementation of all technical and building system issues. In addition to his involvement in architectural practice, Parker has been a visiting instructor and critic at MIT School of Architecture, Parsons School of Design and Roger Williams School of Architecture.
